Leadership Training Program for 7th Graders

Leadership Training Program for 7th Graders

Rocky Mountain Rotary is inviting 7th-grade students to apply for the Young Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference (Young RYLA). RYLA is a 5-day leadership camp happening in June and July at the YMCA of the Rockies.

YRYLA presents a unique opportunity for young individuals to enhance their leadership potential and contribute positively to their communities. The program aims to help students to develop leadership skills, teamwork, and coping mechanisms, through activities like guest speakers, games, and discussions. This overnight camp is offered at no cost to students (aside from arranging transportation to Estes Park). Students can apply online through Rocky Mountain RYLA by April 30, 2024.

The ideal candidate is honest, responsible, and interested in leadership. Selected students will undergo interviews for final selection, with detailed instructions provided on the website for further inquiries. Reach out to the local Rotary Club representative Bill Rubin with any questions.
