Leadership Training Program for 10th-12th Graders

The Rocky Mountain Rotary is accepting applications for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference. Applications from high school students, currently in grades 10 to 12, are being accepted through April, for this prestigious program.

The five day conference takes place at the YMCA of the Rockies near Estes Park, Colorado. During the conference, students focus on leadership development and teamwork skills. The program's objectives include experiential learning and equipping youth with tools to tackle life's challenges. Students eligible for RYLA must demonstrate qualities like honesty, responsibility, and decision-making ability. This overnight camp is offered at no cost to students (aside from arranging transportation to Estes Park).

The RYLA application portal is open through April 30. Successful applicants will undergo an interview process, and final selections will be notified via email. Reach out to the local Rotary Club representative Mark Burnett at markpaulburnett@icloud.com for guidance.
